This is extremely strange, because OpenOffice.org as normally
distributed has no direct connection with your browser. Where did you
get it? What kind of installation options did you see, and what did you
choose? Are you saying that you can open previously viewed sites, but
not new ones, or that you now can't open any site at all? (Neither makes
any sense in the context of OOo, but it may help in trying to fix the
problem,) Also, frequent crashes would most likely result from having
installed on a machine with too few available resources. From the
reference to IE, you are presumably on some version of Windows -- which?
How much memory do you have? Which version of OOo did you download and
then install?
