Greetings;

Just about a week ago, I downloaded the latest version of Open Office
for Mac. I was working on a presentation at the same time. Before the
download, all the toggles in the presentation that pointed to a sound or
video file worked perfectly. After the download, nothing worked. I can
put pictures but no media. I was trying to isolate if there was just a
problem with the presentation I was working on or if it was bigger so I
decided to try a new presentation for experimentation so I put one of
those toggles both for music and for video and neither one would work in
the presentation, whether I tried it in the slide show format or on its
own. It seems like there is something that either got corrupted or a
choice that got refused during this change. Does anyone know where to
look for such a "switch"? I DID download it again but I had the same
lack of success when I either opened the already made presentation or
when I made a new one. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

My Mac is a MacBook Pro Version 10.5.8.

Respectfully yours,

Nick Kircher
