cannot even do that. Cannot access any OO documents.
When trying to re-install, I get this message...something like "Exit OO 3.2 and OO 3.2 Quickstarter before
continuing", and the install stops. At the time this message appears, there is nothing for OO running...
Does anyone have any idea what this means--I am not a computer person so please

Hi, John. Glad you like OOo, and I'm sorry you're having a problem.
Sometimes a stray process will be running that is left over from
something that glitched; this would interfere with either starting or
uninstalling/reinstalling. If that's happening, you can bring up the
Task Manager and look for processes named soffice.bin. End those (the
associated soffice.exe processes will stop, too) and you should be able
to start OOo OK, and probably you won't need to do anything more severe.
(Or just restart, that should do it, too.) Good luck, and let us know if
you still have a problem.
