Yet abusing other users is as expressly forbidden by the Mailing List
Guidelines as the recommended posting style is stipulated.
http://www.openoffice.org/ml_guidelines.html

To follow those guidelines or supress an opinion is the preferred option
especially when the OP has cried enough and repeated his cry for help. Both
you and I and others are mithering on in a side issue that need not be an
issue at all. Should anyone wish to change the guidelines, perhaps they
should use the appropriate forum for that because this isn't it. Should
others wish to point out the rules:

 * Please avoid making it an emotional issue wherever possible as these
circular arguments are negative, unhelpful and tiresome to all concerned.

 * Please point to the rules - it is then less likely to sound like unschooled
opinion.

 * Generally avoid pointing out the rules to unsubscribed users. Newbies know
no better, and they may be forgiven for tying their tie with the wrong knot.

 * When we offer help, we should try to follow the rules even if we are not in
agreement. To not do so is proven to provoke anarchy.

 * If you hold an opposing point of view, it is far better to oppose the
opinion with facts than the person with abuse. If you cannot find evidence to
support your point of view then your view may just be emotionally misguided
at best or trolling idiocy at worst ;)
