I have never used a Mac, but have often moved files between Linux &
Windows. There isn't a problem because OpenOffice.org uses the ODF
formats, no matter what platform it's run on. ODF is also supported by
many other applications, including Microsoft Office (sort of). This
differs from MS Office, where there may be differences between Windows
and Mac versions.
