I can press F11 anywhere, and it opens the window as you say. But the
fourth icon from the left of the main window is: "Opens a new window in
your default email program with the current document as an
attachment...."
The icon your looking for is on the "pop-up" window. It says- Styles
and Formating -at the top of the window. When you hover on the icons on
this pop-up you will see, from left to right, Paragraph Styles,
Character Styles, Frame Styles, Page Styles, List Styles. Clicking on
Page Style brings up a list the current page styles. Right clicking on
a member of the list offers the choice to create a new style or edit the
current style.

More importantly, I do not understand why I am not getting printed page
numbers. To be clear, I am looking at pages from 2 on, not at the first.
