Here was my response:
Perhaps:
<http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&complete=0&q=openoffice+%2B"flash+card"+templates&btnG=Search>

Haven't tried it, but sounds interesting:

Also from my response about a similar item over on the Ubuntu users list:

Regarding searching the archives; you may wish to drop using the regular
mail list method and instead use an nntp client to post and review/read
via gmane.org. Using gmane.org I can view (threaded no less) posts as
far back as 09/11/2002. Sample:
From: Chris Halls <[email protected]>
Newsgroups: gmane.linux.debian.user.german,gmane.comp.openoffice.questions
Subject: Re: keine Hilfedateien in OpenOffice.org (openoffice.org-help-de)
Date: Wed, 11 Sep 2002 20:50:12 +0200
...

http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html
news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.openoffice.questions

You'll also be able to see/use the full threads if you look at any
header posted via gmane.org. For example, the thread regarding your
query on flashcards:

From: "Mark C. Miller" <[email protected]>
Newsgroups: gmane.comp.openoffice.questions
Subject: Flash Cards
Date: Fri, 11 Jun 2010 08:24:01 -0400

contains this header:
Archived-At:
<http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.openoffice.questions/207636>

So I simply go to that url
<http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.openoffice.questions/207636>
and I can see your archived original post. Now I wish to view the entire
thread I simply click the 'Go to the topic' in the left pane, and end up
here:
<http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.openoffice.questions/207636>

Further, by using nntp (newsreader) you don't end up having to download
tons of email, or reply via email. This is particularly effective if,
like me, you participate on many different mail lists daily. Go green,
save some electrons, and give it a try. BTW: you can also use gmane.org
for thousands of mail lists (inluding the Ubuntu users list):

http://gmane.org/
There are currently 12,257 mailing lists subscribed to Gmane, with a
total of 97,624,515 messages.

Magne Ingebrigtsen.
