But, the download of lightning failed on account I'm inthe farm w/
dial-up
Do you know where I can get lightning in a CD form?
Nope. I'm surprised the d/l failed though. I didn't think the
lightning addon was so big. Can someone with Windows check how big
it is and get back to Manuel with the info. The Mozilla site insists
on giving me data about the Mac version since I'm surfing from a Mac
and my Windows box is temporarily ooa.

Same here on linux. (note to self to chastise mozilla for not allowing a
proper selection without ui spoofing) For Windows:
<http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/releases/1.0b1/>
<http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/releases/1.0b1/win32/en-US/>
is 1.2Mb. It is 2.4Mb for _all_ languages etc.
So it's not _that_ big even via dialup.
I would like lightning as well, but I run 64-bit Linux and lightning
will only run on 32-bit versions.
There are a lot of 32-bit only version I have found when I tried to
install Linux versions of
Open source software I have running on Windows Vista 32-bit.
Oh well, Ubuntu tess us that theit 64-bit is not for daily users,
whatever that means.
I do miss Lightning since I moved over to Linux as my main/default system.
