In the following Writer formula there exists a space between the %mu

d_0.95 = 20 %mu m
How can the user remove the space?
That's fairly easy, but you won't like the answer. With the formula
in edit mode - so that the formula window shows at the foot of the
Writer window - go to Format | Spacing... . If necessary, select
Spacing from the Category drop-down menu. Adjust the value for
Spacing. You may want to reduce this to zero. But this has the
effect of changing the spacing elsewhere in the formula, which you
probably won't want. The solution may be to set the spacing to zero
and then introduce explicit spaces elsewhere in your formula:
d_0.95 " " = " " 20 " " %mu m
A messy alternative would be to set the final "m" as a separate
formula. With appropriate anchoring, it is possible to move the two
formulae sufficiently close to achieve what you need. In this case,
you will probably wish to go to Format | Spacing... | Borders (under
Category) and then to set Right to zero for the first formula and
Left to zero for the second.
I trust this helps.
