The 'Number of steps" may not be enough in some applications; I'm not
sure, for instance, how macros are counted, but if the individual
actions within them each count, the maximum of twenty could quickly be
exceeded if the application is a heavy user. Enabling Quickstarter
affects only the time spent preparing for the first use, not the overall
operation of OOo, and it may interfere with permanent updates to some
profile data. Startup time is much more impacted by the setting for
automatic checking for updates than by the load time for OOo itself. If
you want to avoid reload time, you can keep OOo present with no
documents open by using File > Close for the documents. About the other
settings, I really have no comment, though they would seem to have more
likelihood of helping in the ongoing operations.
