vlookup has a disturbing parameter, the fourth parameter, which is a optional parameter. Indeed, there are good instructions in help document. But I remember, I always made the same mistake every time I use calc occasionally. In my case, I shall always assign sort order value 0 (which is not the default value) since names in the first column have not been sorted. > > VLOOKUP(search criterion, array, index, sort order). > > SortOrder is an optional parameter that indicates whether the > first column in the array is sorted in ascending order. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
