I'm racking my brains and have searched the archives where I found
references to some similar problems, but can't find a solution.
I have the latest stable version running on windows NT with an HP
business jet 1100 printer. (fresh install)
the printer works fine with other applications.
I've checked all the settings in OOo for print and they seem okay.
the problem is that when I print a text document with an inserted color
image (gif or jpg) only the image gets printed on the page.
print preview shows it as it is on the screen, but if I have a page of
text and then "insert graphics from file" I only get the image printed
not the text.
export to pdf and print the pdf is the workaround at the moment, but
that's not conducive to good workflow!
has anyone got any ideas?
