Howdy! I have Microsoft XP, Outlook Express 6, Internet Explorer. Programs, such as, Word and EXL are from 2002 and no longer supported by Microsoft. I thought by loading OpenOffice 3.2, and then Abiword, I could then start opening my attachments, but I can't. How do I activate OpenOffice so its used for all the attachments that come in a normal variety of extentions?
I've been digging around with Verizon and trouble shooting, but can't get to the nuts and bolts of what I need. Maybe I cna go back to the old DisplayWrite 36 mainframe system of the '80's! Ha! Please help if you can, thanks! Tony in Torrance, CA
