With openoffice, is there a way to format each cell to be a different width in a column? Where A2 is a different width than B2?



I'm not sure if your question is worded the way you wanted... Cell A2 and B2 are in DIFFERENT columns, and can be made any widths you want. If you meant A2 and A3 (two cells in the same column), the column width can be adjusted, but not separately for the two cells. You may be able to achieve the effect you are after using merged cells (say, A3:D3). Please provide some more info on what you are trying to do with the different widths.
