If you set the file associations of the various filetypes (.ppt, .pps,
.pptx, .ppsx -- I think, not really sure about the slide show ones) to
point to OOo, that should do it. Generally this can be done by
right-clicking on a file of one of these types, selecting Open With, and
browing to simpress.exe. If you select the option to always use this
program for this filetype, you should only have to do this once for each
type. Some e-mail programs manage their own associations, in which case
you'd have to follow this procedure on an attachment.
