I created a Calc spreadsheet from scratch about ten days ago, saving
in ODS format, and it has become corrupted three times. The last two
times it could not be recovered and I had to recreate the file from
scratch. The file was never even 15 kB, and the closest that it came
to tricky formatting was changing the font colors in some cells, and
using freeze.
By comparison, an Excel format file, multiple worksheets, much larger,
has been working just fine in OO for a couple of years.
Is the ODS format sensitive to something? I am running OpenBSD
4.8-beta, snapshot of 28 July, with OpenOffice 3.2.1 from the OpenBSD
package collection.
If it doesn't contain sensitive information, post the spreadsheet
somewhere that can be downloaded or email it to me and I'll take a look at.
