Your test file printed fine for me.

Thank you Bob for testing!

What version of OpenOffice are you using? What OS? Also, what version of
Adobe Acrobat did you use to print the file?

Many thanks,

Alvin

My system is

PCLinuxOS 2010
KDE 4.4.5
OpenOffice.org 3.2.0 from the PCLOS repository.

The system was updated earlier this morning from the PCLinuxOS repository.

The default PDF reader in PCLOS is Ocular 0.10.5, and that is what I
printed from.

I hope this helps.

Bob

I can print from Okular as well, however, the people I send PDFs to use the
various Adobe programs such as Acrobat. I have "acroread" installed and I
cannot print from that either.

There was another reply posted to this list not too long ago that said this is
an issue with openSUSE's spin of OOo and that this problem doesn't exist for
the vanilla version from the OOo website. Hopefully, the openSUSE team can get
this fixed.

Cheers,

Alvin

Try installing 'Cups-PDF'. It installs as a 'printer' on your system. Instead of using the OOo Export PDF feature, print the odt file to "Cups-PDF'. Then see if the resulting file can be properly used by Adobe programs.

Cups-PDF is in the PCLOS repositories, so it will probably be in yours too.

Let me know how this works for you.

Bob
