Did you happen to write-protect your records? If so, you will have to
unprotect them with your protect password.

Subject: [users] Unable to delete or amend records in base 3.2.1

Hi

I'm in a query and have tried to delete a record entered in error. When I
click "yes" I want to delete it, the record remains.

I tried to amend the record and on leaving the row, it reverted to the
original contents. This happens with other records.

I've tried clicking the edit icon (to check it was in the correct state)
and, although the delete is not grayed out, it still does the same. I can no
longer type in new data when I do this, though.

I can't, honestly, recall whether I've done updates with this level before..
I think I have.

What might I neeed to check? Is there a way of directly entering a SQL
delete command? (amending a query in SQL prevents this).

Thanks
Ed
