I do most of my non-Help documents in OOo now.
Last week, I grabbed a recent one and saved it
under a new name, and started modifying it to
go with a new product release. When I was done,
I saved it, I exported a PDF, then I did a
"Save as..." Word file, and submitted all three
for release (the .doc requirement is not my idea...).

This week, I get the complaint that the Word
version is corrupted.

I try to open it, and sure enough, Word is complaining.
But Word 2003 can "Repair" it says. OK do it.

To make a long story longer, the document has a
background graphic (pale, like a watermark) in the
bottom third of each page.

The document that Word was eventually able to open
had that just fine.... except on the first page.

I don't recall changing anything about the graphic
in question.

It looks fine in the .ODT version, and in the PDF,
on _all_ pages, including the first.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

OOo 3.2 on Windows XP x64.
