Are you sure it is Calc? As a rule your not required to have any Unique
entries in a spreadsheet. That is not to say it cannot be done. The
quickest that I can think of is to use numbers, place 1 in the first
cell and hit enter. Then click on the cell, you will see a small box on
the lower right hand corner. Place the mouse pointer on this box, it
changes to a + sign. Press the left mouse button and drag the block
down the column. The numbers will increase as you go down and each will
be different.
A database _is_ required to have a Unique entry or things can get messed
up big time.
