I stick to Word 2003 or earlier ones. Many of the 2007 templates do not import/open very correctly. MS messes with then [my opinion] so only their products can open them. I was told that there are some hidden format options that are not documented so people cannot write the proper filters for software like OpenOffice.org to be able to use it. What type of templates do you need? Label templates from Avery work, or at least the ones I have used. Calendar? I make my own sometimes for thing like one page photo calendars or such things. Document or card? There are third party free ones available. I go to MS's site once any a while to see what they have, for Office 2003 or earlier, then download them before MS gets ride of them to make you buy their software. With using Linux, I could not even use Word if I want. BUT, if you really need to use 2007 templates, download their trial software and save all your templates to Word 2003 format. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
