Yep, confirms this is deut to the wise decision to remove the ability to associate Microsoft Office files with OOo in t he GUI installer. Older versions took over these associations by default, but you could UNcheck them in the GUI. Then they made the default with them UNchecked - then they removed these options from the GUI installer altogether.
