Create a spreadsheet with any and all change you require. Under File>
Templates> Save, save it as a template with what ever name you wish.
Once the template is saved, File> Templates> Organize to get to the
Template Management window. In the left section find your template,
highlight it. On the right hand side you see 5 buttons. The second is
Commands click on it. If a template is selected you will see, at the
bottom of the dropdown list, Set as Default Template, press that. You
now have a new default template for Calc that will open when you start a
new spreadsheet document.
