[users] Installation major problems

I was trying to update to the 3.2 version, but, it keeps telling me to get out 
of open office.org before continue. I wasnt in open office.org. I cannot 
install the new version. And another thing, I cannot open the older version 
unless I start to quit the computer. Please help!
