You didn't say which version of OOo. In 3.2.1 (Win): Tools|Extension Manager|French...|click 'Remove'. If you are using a different version, then check C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\share\cache\uno_packages and there should be some .tmp_ files there.
