[users] [moderated]document links doesn't opens automatically with OO Writer

OpenOffice.org version 1.1.0 on Windows XP.
In area Writer, 
If i do a right click, selecting the "open" action, on a link to a .doc 
file located in a network share, the OOWriter doesn't open automatically. 
If I open manually the writer and use File->Open dialog, the link opens 
correcly.
I have already checked that the OO Writer is the default application 
associated on .doc files.
I am running a win xp prof. box, the .doc file is on a windows 2003 
server's share.
