Don, there really isn't any connection between being on the user list and downloading the software.
It isn't like those systems where until you sign up, you just get a trial version -- what you
apparently downloaded before is already the full suite, and there's nothing like a "key" or login or
anything like that required. What subscribing to this list accomplished was to make it easier for
you to get help -- and when you're comfortable with OOo, to give it!
