I finally got rid of Ubuntu's version of OOo and installed Oracle's
version from the OOo
web site. I did it from a document I printed from the
"http://www.muktware.com/";
web site.

Did you want to dump Fedora's version in favor of the one on the OOo's
web site?

Maybe you can find the instructions like I was given here - i.e. the
link to the pages
that are from that site. It walked me through the full process. I have
been using
Ubuntu and its version of OOo and dumping it was my only way to fix a
problem.

I did try to have both version installed at the same time, but it did
not work
properly for me.
