today I typed a document in OOo Writer, using latest
version 1.9/"2.0" beta. I saved it as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP
(.doc). File size is maybe 2kb tops.
OOo does not natively email anything in MSO format. So, without using a
macro, you should consider email as PDF or getting your recipients to
get OOo.
OOo seems to me to email the document in the format it was opened from
or last saved as
(1.1.4 and 1.9.109 on WinXp)
