Andy,
The CONCATENATE at the bottom of the spreadsheet works perfectly to
produce completely random sentences when the three pairs of columns are
sorted manually. However, when creating a macro to sort the the pairs
of columns (to save time), it no longer works correctly. It seems that
the macro doesn't allow the three separate sorts to happen. Instead it
seems that all three pairs are sorted together causing the contents of
columns B D and F to always stay on the same row as each other;
therefore, no longer producing a random sentence at the bottom. For
example, the television will always be red and small. This should not
be the case, and is not the case when sorting the three pairs of columns
manually.
And in regard to the macro not being included with the file when I send
it, I have no idea how to include the macro. It's in the file on my
computer.
Thanks for your time. I really appreciate your help.
John
Open the document, click on Tools> Macros> Organize> OpenOffice.org
Basic that will open a new dialog call OpenOffice.org Basic Macros. On
the left it says Example Spreadsheet.ods. If you click on the + you
will see "Standard". Here is where you macro should be shown, but here
it is blank.
Copy and paste your macro in the reply to this message so that we can
see it.
There is someone on this list that I hope will join in here.
Andy
