problems, why not try this:

> o  Cut all your relevant material.
> o  Create the tab stop you need in an empty paragraph.
> o  Paste the material back into the empty paragraph you have just created,
> using Edit | Paste Special... | Unformatted text.

> All your paragraphs should inherit the new arrangement.


This worked. though all the bulleting i did were lost but i this still is a
good method

It didn't work but this time it searched & even seemed to replace many
items.

 Sorry I didn't mention that earlier.


Why you should be? You have helped me a lot I shall not forget to
