Perhaps it is simply a matter of the cell staying put and the data
contained therein is moved. Anchor an image to cell B6, then sort the
sheet. Cell B6 is still B6. It may be as simple as that.
Except that if you anchor a picture to a cell, then insert a row above,
the picture moves down alaong with the cell and its other contents.
Inconsistent behaviour however you look at it.
Only the programmers know for sure.... maybe.
