Interesting. I just had a look.
OO 3.2.1 takes up 365 MB, MS Office 2007 takes up 331MB! (Windows 7).
But as you say, with machines ROUTINELY being built now with HDD space
in excess of 250GB, neither is very large in the scheme of things...
