And I've just seen the OP isn't subscribed, so have repeated the below
copied to them. OP -- replies to the list ONLY please - and consider
subscribing, or you'll almost certainly miss out on responses.
(Apologies for the top post in this case! Any followups to my previous
post not this one, if you will please.)

The Write Guide suggestion is excellent, however, if you lookup
Landscape in
OOo help. The steps there will help you create a Page style.
If you are not using styles now it will take some learning but well worth
the effort.
The trick is that first you first need to create a page style with the
next
style set (maybe to Default) then apply it to the desired page with the
Insert Manual break (with the style set to the style you just created).
Hope this helps
That sounds to me confusing and probably over-complicated for a newcomer.
For the simplest case, with the entire document being in the same
format, all the OP needs to do is
Format | Page
then select the 'Page' tab and check the 'landscape' option.
AND in addition, when printing, make sure landscape is set in the
printer options (exactly how depends on the printer driver).
Also remember the help file (F1 is quickest) should always be the first
port of call. A search for 'landscape' is very productive.
