Hello,
I want to convert each A4 page of text into two A5 pages so I can print a
booklet. How do I go about that? I have XP home SP3.
I see under Format: Flip, but 'Flip vertically' & 'Flip Horizontally' are
disabled.

Not sure if this is sufficient or will achieve exactly what you want. Also
assuming you don't have to many "page styles".
1. Make a copy of your document in case this procedure messes it up ;-)
2. Go to Format>Styles and Formatting (or hit F11)
3. At the top left of the panel that opens there are 5 icons. Hover the
mouse of the 4th. It should say "Page Styles" (the icon looks a bit like a
page).
4 Click that icon to select the list of currently defined page styles.
5. Right click the style named "Default".
6. Click Modify.
7. Select the Page tab.
8. Under Format (top left) choose A5 from the drop down list.
9. Click OK and then back out of the menu tree.
10. Save the result.
If you want, at step 8 you can also alter the orientation from Portrait to
Landscape.
You may need to do some minor rearranging to weed out "orphan" paragraphs
and/or tables that are now split in inconvenient places.
If you have used more than one style, I think you need to do the above for
each one; pain in the posterior but ...
I don't know if there's a better way. Perhaps someone will let us know.
Please.
