Subject: Internet connection

I’m using OfficeSuite2010 since Nov.’10, and when I prepare a document, try to
e-mail it, no matter what option I select I get an error message that there is
no open connection to the internet available. Now, I purchased this
specifically to send document via e-mail, and I can’t get anything to work. I
use Windows Live Mail, and Win7.. The search section(support) is useless in
this matter.
Thanks

You are not subscribed to this list so you may not see all replies - you will not see replies that are only sent to the list and not explicitly cc'd to you. Some of the volunteers who run this list do not explicitly cc the questioner as they assume s/he is subscribed.

Alternatively, perhaps nobody who has read your question can answer it. I can't. I'm not even sure what "OfficeSuite2010" is (which is what you say you are using). It sounds like a Microsoft product, in which case you need to ask Microsoft.

Please be aware that OpenOffice.org (OOo) is a free software suite. Its support is free and is run by volunteers who are simply users of the software who choose to donate their time to helping others.

You also say you *purchased* this "OfficeSuite2010". As I said, OOo is free. I don't know what you have bought but I strongly suggest you get in touch with whoever you bought it from. Note that it is *legal* to sell the OOo software. Some people sell it on CD/DVD as a convenience to those with slow/expensive/unreliable internet connections. But there are others who simply sell it to make a fast buck, relying on the purchaser not knowing that they can get it free. If you bought OOo from other than the www.openoffice.org web site then you might be able to get your money back via your credit card issuer - depending on the consumer protection laws in your country. But in any case you need to contact your supplier first.
