How does one remove the border for between two cells in a Writer
table? In this application Merge is _not_ appropriate, however the
border should not be seen.

Thanks.

1. Select the two cells
2. From the menus, select Table > Table Properties (or right click in the selection and select "Table...")
3. Click the "Borders" tab if not already selected
4. In the grid under "User-defined", click the middle line (vertical or horizontal, depending which you want to get rid of)
5. In the line styles list, click "None"
6. Click OK

You may still see a faint grey line in the table, but that should not print (it is displayed to aid editing the content of the table when there are no borders).

Hope that helps.

Mark.
