Hello,

In Calc, you put the cells of column A in the 24 mode(i.e.: 13:37), with column
B you do the same and also for column C and H3. You give the first cell of
column C the formula: =sum(B1-A1). Now you copy this formula to the other
cells of column C as many as you want (31). In H3 you make the formula:
=sum(C1:C31) This is the total of hours made in one month.

Important is that you make up your cells in time mode.

Good luck, Theo

Onderwerp: [users] Calc: Calculating Time Totals for a Time Card

Hello,

I have a Calc spreadsheet I use to keep track of time, kind of a time card. I
use the 24 Hrs. format. I have a Sheet for each client for the current month
(so it would include 31 rows maximum, not including the first one used for the
headers):

Column A has the Start Time (i.e.: 09:15)

Column B has the End Time (i.e.: 13:25)

Now, I want Column C to have the total time for each row, and another cell to
have the total time spent for this client that month (say, H3)

I guess I'd have to sum the total for C2:C32, but I can't figure out how to
calculate it as time and what to put as a formula in H3.

Thanks!

Amichai.
