  Thanks for clearing up those additional questions. Yes, I wish
  that my wife would get on this list. I can only advance the idea
  once a week or so :). 
  
  I own/operate a small software development business from home -
  working primarily in a linux environment with web applications,
  analysis and consulting. I've never had a use for OO - abiword and
  vim have sufficed for  what little technical writing I have had to
  do. However there is a possiblity of leveraging what I learn of OO
  for consulting a switchover from MS-Office or managing a MySQL
  interface.
