While working in OpenOffice, suddenly the check marks for Number Recognition & Number Format no longer appear in when I right click in a Cell in a Table on my Mac OS 10.6.7. I tried uninstalling OpenOffice & reinstalling it to get the check marks to appear again but that did not work. They still appear in the latest Windows version of OpenOffice. I searched through the help links on the OpenOffice website but I didn't find any answers to this problem. Can you provide a solution for this program malfunction?
