If you R-click on an object or group of objects, the 'align' option ought to be visible. If you select an object and click somewhere other than on that object then it won't be. Text boxes are a bit finicky, and you probably need to select the /box/ (not the content) and R-click on the boundary (a slant-shaded rectangle round the text).
Any advice please (I cannot upgrade to 3.3 becuse this is a computer supplied under the governments 'Broadband for Seniors' program). Regards *ruce*
