That is Instead of using Insert > Cross r*e*ference... > Numbered Paragraphs and then selecting "Number" in the "Insert reference to" option If you use Insert > Cross r*e*ference... > Numbered Paragraphs and then select "Page" in the "Insert reference to" option then your document is saved with correct cross references. I sense that this is a relatively easy bug to fix and would enable better and safer functionality when needing to work with partners using MS Word.
