I was looking through old posts, and I had a thought on this....

A text object can be easily created to produce a watermark for a single page.  
All you would need after that is a simple macro called "Paste to All Pages."  

By "simple" I mean simple for someone who knows how to build macros.  I have 
never figured it out.
