I'm making a presentation (Impress 3.2.0/ubuntu 10.04). There seems to
be an issue with shadows and object transitions.
I have a transition to a slide with a number (8 or so) of callout items
- these have text incorporated, and I rather like the shadow effect, so
that's set. On the create-a-slide screen, they show as the callout
object with a shadow, and the text appears without a shadow, which looks
fine.
The callouts are faded in one at a time after the slide is first shown,
and I find that an evident shadow(*) of the /text/ comes and goes for
some of the already-visible boxes as each new one appears, which makes
the whole presentation look quite dreadful.
I'm assuming it's correct that no shadow should appear for the text (not
that I can find a control for this separate from the overall object
shadow select) - but even if I'm wrong, it surely should not come and go
apparently at random, so either way there's a fault.
Has anyone else noticed this sort of thing happening? And better, have a
fix (that leaves me my shadow please :-) ?
