And did you verify, that the software you downloaded can be run on this version of the OS? I think I remember, that the new version of OOo work only with Intel laptops. But maybe one of the Mac users can confirm this. So, if I'm right, then I'm afraid, but you can't use OOo 3.2.1 on your Macbook. You'll have to go back to an earlier version.
