Got the system straight - the NRC diminished hugely in frequency but it's 
still there: 8 users, 5h: 2 NRCs so far.

xrestop shows a 15M Pixmap memory for only one Window of the second NRC'd 
OOo - this is 3 times as much as the whole KDE Desktop has. The window 
contained a simple 1-page writer document without graphics.
