For reasons that I cannot explain, some messages were delayed in going

This happens. It was apparently a routing or email-queue kick-off
quirk where these messages arrive so much later than the one before
and ones after.
Unless it continues, there is probably nothing to be concerned about.
Posts from unsubscribed addresses have to go through the moderator and
their is a delay getting them to the list. Rob Weir's post from his
Apache address and David Lipman's post both went through the moderator
and have a later date in the headers for posting to the list than the
actual sent date.
X-Sympa-To: [email protected] in the headers indicate that the post
went through the moderator.
If this was in response to my comments about emails to the list being
delayed...
The messages I saw delayed by a day or so were not moderated (I have my
mail client highlight those differently, based on the X-Sympa-To header,
to help when replying). I wasn't complaining nor concerned, but just
observed that it may have been the cause of some messages having had
replies and not earlier ones. Email is not designed to be instant, even
though it often is pretty much instant these days.
Thanks,
Mark.
