Hey
Perhaps the problem is solved using the style "Body Text" instead of
"Default"

What Massimo Neri writes in Italian, here below, is a problem I've run

come in as a result. So here goes:
"Good day. I've been using OpenOffice for several years.
Lately, though - I don't know why - it's giving me formatting problems.
1) When I start a new line (by pressing Enter)
the formatting of the previous line gets changed.
I've seen that happen occasionally for a long time. So long as the end
result is acceptable, I don't see it as a particular issue.
2) When I typed "1/2", (writer) would automatically transform it into
a fraction character with 1 as upper and 2 as lower. Now it no longer
does that.
Perhaps the 'autocorrect' settings have been changed. Tools |
autocorrect options, then the 'options' tab here (OOo3.2/ubuntu10.04).
I have not made any updates lately.
Perhaps I've typed some command without being aware of it
and so it changed these settings.
What can I do to get back to my earlier set-up?
I tried to re-install the application, but to no avail.
Presumably the options are stored in your user-specific config area.
This isn't affected by de- or re- installation of the program.
