This seems to be intended. No KPrinter with OO.org. Issue closed as invalid.
for the normal user it is expected to be easier not to have to touch
spadmin at all and use the standard system tool instead (which is
whatever your distribution has to configure CUPS). Still the old print
system should still work as it is needed on non-CUPS systems, so
basically the error message of kprinter should be avoidable. If you're
sure that this is an error with OOo (e.g. try lpr instead of kprinter
for comparison), then please file an issue.
