there's a macro for inserting latex into OOo docs as EPS images,
describedo n p. 2 of the forum redferenced above.  Soundas, however,
as though the forula itslef is not saved -- just the im;age -- in
which case, I suppose that it would be a real pain ify ou have to
modify an equation slightly.
